Dear KK, My colleagues in the General Office were a bit disturbed today when one of your academic staff (Mr XXX) who was having a class in Rm YYY came into our General Office to ask for white- board markers. As we are not a Unit providing markers (or any other stationery) to colleagues teaching in classrooms near our School's General Office, my colleagues refused his request (I fully agree with their response). However, Mr XXX then went to our 'stationery' cabinet, opened it and took away markers without our consent. We consider this act very impolite.
I would appreciate if you could remind your colleagues to bring their own stationery to their classes.
Sorry to bother you with this.
Best wishes ZZZ *~*~*~*~*~**~~*~**~*~*
Subject: A request from another School
Dear colleagues,
Just to share with all of you an email I received yesterday. If you have any comments on the incident, please let me know. Thanks.

ZZZ said, 'my colleagues refused his request (I fully agree with their response).' Can ZZZ explain further why s/he fully agreed with such refusal, when in fact, they had a full store of markers?
